Recently, the 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo (CICG) was held in Hainan. Nearly 20 high-quality ceramic enterprises organized by the Jingdezhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce made a splendid appearance, showcasing five core categories: blue-and-white porcelain, famille rose porcelain, colored-glaze porcelain, delicately pierced porcelain, and Yixing zisha teapots. With a powerful “dual-hall synergy” lineup, they became the most culturally distinctive and popular exhibition area within the “National Porcelain Selection Pavilion.”
The products exhibited this time cover multiple scenarios, including daily use, decorative display, and collection. The underglaze blue patterns on blue-and-white porcelain vividly demonstrate a thousand-year heritage; the delicate blending of colors in famille rose porcelain embodies Eastern aesthetics; the kiln-transformation textures of colored-glaze porcelain are uniquely characteristic; the translucent craftsmanship of delicately pierced porcelain is truly stunning; and the warm, smooth texture of zisha teapots made from authentic Yixing raw clay has garnered widespread attention. During the expo, industry leaders and representatives of ceramic art exchanged views on topics such as innovation in traditional techniques and international promotion. Numerous overseas buyers reached cooperation intentions on-site, helping to further expand the international market for these five categories and enabling the “Chinese Porcelain” brand to reach the world.
This exhibition not only centrally showcased the craftsmanship advantages and cultural connotations of the five categories but also leveraged the CICG platform to promote the deep integration of traditional porcelain art with modern lifestyle aesthetics, highlighting the dynamic development vitality of Jingdezhen’s ceramic industry in “upholding tradition while innovating,” and injecting new momentum into the foreign trade exports of these five products.
